Turning acceptance letters into college degrees for forty years.

Every scholarship the Kappa Scholarship Endowment Fund awards helps a deserving student pursue a college education and a brighter future. By removing financial barriers, we empower students to focus on their studies, achieve their goals, and become leaders in their communities.

An investment in a student’s education is an investment in a stronger future for us all.

The Fund

Students who have done everything right — and we make sure it leads somewhere.

A gift of $100 helps reduce the financial burden facing a college-bound DC student. A gift of $5,000 creates a Named Endowed Scholarship that supports students for generations in perpetuity.

Every student we support is a graduating DC Public or Public Charter High School senior who has earned a GPA of 2.5 or higher, demonstrated financial need, been active in their school and community, and secured acceptance to an accredited four-year college or university.

From its earliest efforts to its current $6.5 million endowment, KSEF has awarded over $4.2 million in scholarships to more than 900 DC students across four decades — and we are now pursuing a $10 million endowment goal.
